Supervisor : TM1 Core Model Project Head

The TM1 Core Model Project Manager is responsible for the design and the deployment of standardized TM1 processes aligned with Group Core model in the TM1 Program for businesses within Sanofi. This includes :

  • Definition and design of parts of standard process charter for TM1, where needed, enabling Budget and forecast processes as well as reporting.
  • the maintenance and updates of the core model

  • Review and challenge change request to Core model requested by controlling team. Explain Core model processes and work around processes to be applied when needed to ensure alignment to core model
  • Escalate issues / change requests to TM1project Governance and Global Process Owner as needed
  • Drive project implementation tasks in countries / regions under the global supervision of the TM1 Core Model project Head
  • Liaise with TM1 network about best practices. Contribute to best practice sharing and continuous improvement plans
  • Drive change management actions to ensure buy in from controlling teams
  • Contribute to project governance bodies (Regional / local project committees, steering committees) and provide active contributions to Finance System Transformation Program as needed (end to end integration with ERP or other solutions, reporting, communication, etc.)
  • Contribute to other projects leveraging on TM1 core model concepts such as Alliance Finance and Tax
  • Contribute to other TM1 Core Model work streams such as Analytics COE and Above Country
  • Change Management

  • Together with the program Head of Change Management and the TM1 Core Model Project Head, carry out the change management for TM1 projectImpact assessment due to process changes, both functional and organizationalContribute into communication actionsSet up action plans and allocate rolesAct proactively as a change agent promoting the benefits of the proposed changeParticipate in workshops and touch points with regions and businesses
  • Design of the Solution

  • Conduct scoping / gap analysis with Global core model and design tasks
  • Contribute / lead Design workshop under the coordination of the Head of Change Management & TM1 Core Model project Head as per Implementation
  • Review and challenge change request to Core model requested by controlling team. Explain Core model processes and work around processes to be applied when needed to ensure alignment to core model
  • Define / review specifications to be developed by ITS
  • Development and testing

  • Coordinate user acceptance tests
  • Define data and process testing criteria. Sign off on testing
  • Implementation

  • Ensure the design and configuration of the TM1 processes and data flows across systems are effective and efficient
  • Present verbal and written reports defining action plans, issues and resolutions to appropriate levels of project or program management
  • Ensure that risks and issues are identified, formalized & communicated to the Project Management
  • Adhere to PUMA project methodology and produce required documentation. Define implementation strategy and build business case.
  • Assess resources needed from Global and regions / countries / SSCs in Finance and ITS. Ensure alignment and resources / priorities are well addressed while defining the roadmap

  • During roll-out, drive implementation work with regional / SBS supporting teamsEnsure prerequisites are in placePerform communication to local stakeholders and coordinate kick-
  • off / scoping workshops locally where relevant. Advise on local governance processes to be set upMonitor progress, address change request, propose core model update to the Steering Committee / process owners (depending on topic)

    Project management, Roll-out strategy and roadmap

  • Assess resources needed from Global and regions / countries in Finance and ITS.
  • Ensure stakeholder relationship management
  • Prepare and coordinate Local steering committees
  • Ensure Project reporting
  • Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance or relevant area
  • 5 years Project Management experience with experience implementing regional / global roll outs to be off advantage.
  • Experience and good track record in controlling and / or accounting and financial reporting preferably in a Pharmaceutical / Consumer Products industry
  • Experience translating business needs into process and implementation requirements
  • Good knowledge of controlling and reporting processes (end to end view) as well as the main tools being used in the Group (SAP, TM1, HFM, etc.)
  • Knowledge of modeling and design approach for similar solution and processes would be a plus
  • Ability to manage complex projects (scope / interactions / numerous stakeholders),
  • Analytical, process-oriented with a keen interest to drive continuous improvements. A can-do attitude with tenacity and energy in leading change
  • Ability to work out of comfort zone with strong ability to train and teach / coach others
