APAC Sales & Service Director Description JOB SUMMARY Develop and expand sales and services opportunities for company’s equipment in APAC Region Provide value adding proposals to clients.
Ensure that sales & service organizations meet customer expectations RESPONSIBILITIES Supervision of all Sales / Service personnel in assigned region Provide strategic direction, guidance and leadership to the regional sales and service organization.
Develop and maintain sales prospects and forecasts for the region. Manage performance strategies for sales prospects to ensure a profitable performance Develop, prioritize and successfully manage implementation of Account / Sales Strategy.
Continuously strive for sales and service improvements. Effectively communicate company’s value propositions to achieve a premium position and competitive differentiation in the marketplace.
Maximize company’s brand while developing business growth and financial performance. Attend and support appropriate industry trade shows and provide strategic input into the appropriate level of marketing and support required.
Work closely with global managers to assure best business practices in communication and team work. Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.
REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree 10 years experience in capital equipment sales with relevant international experience in managing a service function.
Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a sales & service organization in an MNC . Strong managerial and leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage and challenge staff to meet performance criteria.
Previous managerial experience with a large, complex geographical territory High customer service orientation. Strong communication skills.
Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate financial and technical product benefits. Flexible management style Relevant experience in managing budgeted revenues, costs and profits in APAC.
Experience in technical, capital equipment sales management Up to 50 - 60% of time spent traveling for direct customer sales calls, developing relationships externally and internally, gathering of competitive information, and trade shows and conferences.
