You will be part of the Group Finance team base in Singapore. As a Senior Fund Accountant (or Assistant Manager), your will be responsible for the preparation and review of fund valuations, including investment valuation, fee computation, various accruals, and income allocations.
In addition, the incumbent will be involved in the preparation and review of the annual audit reports, act as a direct liaison with the fund managers, auditors, valuer and other related parties.
In addition, you will be assisting on US GAAP reporting on investment.
Maintain Fund books and records in accordance with the Offering Memorandum and other Constitutive Documents.
Prepare initial draft of a fund’s annual financial statements with footnotes in accordance with GAAP, and provide audit assistance to independent audit firms during the fund’s annual review.
Prepare reconciliations of fund cash and investment positions and track fund level expenses, accruals, management fees and incentive fees.
Maintain tax lots of investments and record investment level transactions in the Fund’s books and records and assist on tax filing.
Perform monthly US GAAP reporting
Support in liaising with statutory auditors, tax agents, valuer and other external parties
Participate in establishing, implementing and improving SOX controls and business processes
Undertake other ad-hoc special projects as assigned
5 to 9 years of relevant working experience doing fund accountant or in Big 4 external audit of funds are desired
Degree in Accountancy or recognisable accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA and etc.)
Familiar with valuation approach and technique
Familiar with US GAAP is an advantage
Strong accounting and reporting knowledge
