Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure Global Pricing Process & Policy (GPP) is up to date and working properly.
  • Build working relationship with the Regional Pricing Heads, Business and IT teams in the EXPRESS Regions / Countries and other Corporate Divisions to get alignment and leverage potential synergies.
  • Drive interactions with Regional Pricing teams to identify and evaluate pricing process and tools requirements.

  • Provide pricing process alignment and engagement globally.
  • Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness.
  • Support complex cross-functional regional projects which require a wide range of expertise in Pricing, Costing, Billing, IS and Sales processes and systems.
  • Create pricing reports to measure performance quality. Drive continuous development and process enhancements to reduce manual input on pricing reporting.
  • Report global pricing and yield programs.
  • Lead pricing initiatives such (RAS) remote area surcharge update (annual and adhoc exercise); (S&S)services and surcharges collection (quarterly and annual exercise);
  • GRCT) Global Rate Card Collection.

  • Support Pricing CIS; GPP CIS.
  • Lead and support pricing KPI improvement and tool enhancements. Support business case and UATs.
  • Work with Global Costing and Commercial controlling to ensure provided data is accurate and to develop specific pricing reports.
  • Requirements

  • Familiarity / experience with DHL Express Finance and Billing systems will be beneficial.
  • Familiarity / experience with Business Intelligence and Reporting systems will be beneficial.
  • Experience in an analytically-focused business role with a deep understanding of the Express business & processes.
  • Previous experience in pricing, costing or finance will be beneficial.
  • Knowledge and understanding of DHL pricing and costing methodologies and tools.
  • Flair for figures and detail-orientated. Proficient at working with data.
  • Strong analytical capability including expertise in spread sheet (Excel), PowerPoint and database (Access, SQL, Tableau) programs.
  • Objective decision making capability. Critical thinking and analytically strong.
  • Ability to influence and execute decisions. Assertive and able to drive change and new processes.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent multi tasking and project management skills.
  • Ability to integrate and work in diverse cultures and environments.
  • Expert capability of modelling, data analysis and reporting tools.
