  • Exciting opportunity to be with the Group Business Support Services (GBSS) groundbreaking journey which seeks to ensure services are fully supporting the firms’ requirements at the right price point and with complete visibility.
  • Seek to deliver all parts of the corporate real estate services to the functions, additionally, GBSS is also responsible for capital projects, corporate travel, business integrated services, printing, archiving, and language translation services.
  • As the Head of the Global Workplace and Employee Services (GWES) tower of GBSS, it is crucial to deliver global consistency in standards and processes as well as ensuring more efficient execution for the facilities services teams within GWES and focusing on enhancing the user experience
  • The majority of facility services are being outsourced to a single vendor, CBRE, as part of a global contract. Key role will be leading the team in developing a strong partnership with CBRE to ensure the stable delivery of services whilst driving efficiencies.
  • Outstanding vendor management, controls and outsourcing oversight skills are therefore required, in addition to vendor performance improvement skills.
  • Responsible for the delivery of small projects (Moves and Changes) and coordinate with the Capital Projects team (based in Singapore) to execute larger building projects, which are anticipated in the region.
  • Responsible for Business Continuity preparedness : ensuring adequate and timely support from GBSS in case of BCM related events.
  • More recently, GBSS has seen significant involvement in the Bank’s COVID-19 response to support the health and safety of our staff.

  • Along with leading the Facility Management team, acting as the face of GBSS ( Business Partner ), being aware of the outcome of all the GBSS services across your sub region in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Australia is required.
  • Passing on feedback from the Business around the above services, to the relevant members of the GBSS Regional team in Singapore and globally as vital.
  • Key initiatives for the Asia Division, meaning there will be dynamic demands on GBSS.

  • With over 3,400 staff in Singapore, predominately Front Office, the successful delivery of stable infrastructure is critical to Credit Suisse revenue streams and the expertise in staying ahead of this demand will ensure GBSS resources are aligned to the Business’ strategic plans.
  • Dedicated to establishing strong and positive relationships with all business associates and senior partners (up to CEO level and across COO plus departmental heads) will be critical to success.
  • A specialist and an equal partner with the Business ensuring the Business make the right real estate decisions. Monitor financial performance and meeting efficiency targets as required by the GBSS financial plan.

  • Outstanding leadership and management skills to work with high-achieving management team along with proficiency and practical experience of vendor management delivering facility services within a global organization.
  • Familiarity with outsourcing frameworks and obligations of outsourced vendors as prescribed by Regional Banking regulators.
  • Experience in financial accounting and reporting including preparing and managing budgets.
  • Possess a track record of establishing productive, positive working relationships in a large organization.
  • Committed, able to challenge, influence and provide guidance to senior group of managers in support of agreed cross team objectives.
  • Ability to build high level and consistent operational capability across regional teams.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • A senior role working with various global counterparts on a regular basis and work flexibly outside of standard hours to participate in meetings or evening calls.
  • Results oriented, dedicated, hardworking and can work on own initiative whilst also delivering on time with a high level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
