As a member of the Systems Operations business unit under Fixed Network, you will : -
Manage and support all enterprise customer services and infrastructure which includes Windows Server OS, Linux OS, DNS, Email, RADIUS and Virtualization platform such as VMware
Manage and support Fixed Network’s internal management infrastructure such as NMS and log management which are core to Fixed Network’s operations
Participate in routine cyber security operations such as risk assessment, incident management and VAPT exercises
Plan, design, configure, integrate and install dedicated hardware, virtualized solutions as well as software solutions built upon M1 Cloud infrastructure
Support systems-related escalation requests from Level 1 Technical Support team on a 24x7 basis
Provide technical advice, fault resolution and troubleshooting support to Account and Pre-sales Managers, Technical Support team and Customer Support
Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions from vendors and other third party vendors for system operations requirements
Achieve continuous improvements to the management and services infrastructure
Job Requirements :
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or its related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience
Experience in : -
General Unix / Linux / Windows system administration
Installing, configuring and / or securing Unix / Linux OS such as RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.
Installing, configuring and / or securing Windows Svr OS
Management of Windows domain
Management of email systems and knowledge of SMTP, POP3, IMAP etc
Management of web hosting systems and knowledge of Apache, nginx, proxy etc.
Management of DNS infrastructure and knowledge of DNS, DNSSEC etc.
Management of AAA infrastructure and knowledge of Radius etc.
Management of virtualization platform such as VMware ESXi
Troubleshoot Unix / Linux and Windows Svr systems performance
SAN storage operations and implementation knowledge will be an added advantage
Some scripting language development experience (AJAX, Bash, Python, PERL, PHP, XML etc.) will be advantageous

24x7 off-site standby is required
