We are looking for an experienced in-House Legal Counsel to manage the full spectrum of legal and compliance for the Group.

You will safeguard our reputation by guaranteeing that the Group abide with relevant regulations across the different geographies in which the Group is having operations, manage third-party engagements and provide legal advice to management.

Roles and Reponsibilities

  • Accurate and comprehensive management of all agreements related to the Company’s ordinary business matters (Drafting, reviewing and negotiation), including :
  • Employment related agreements as necessary (Including subcontracting agreements and service agreements)
  • Commercial related documentation (NDAs, partnership agreements, Software Licencing agreements, Customisation agreements, Maintenance agreements, SaaS agreements and hardware leasing agreements)
  • Review and negotiate financing related documentation (including fundraising)
  • Act as the main point of contact for Legal Due Diligence
  • Research and coordinate private practice engagements for non-ordinary legal business matters
  • Assess and advise on potential legal and regulatory implications and exposure in proposed projects and initiatives
  • Maintain awareness on regulatory environment changes across the different geographies
  • Provide support for the geographic expansion of the Group
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and requirements including acting as the main contact point for corporate secretarial services (Board resolution drafting / review, AGM preparation, filings with relevant authorities, etc.)
  • Creating legal training materials and conducting legal trainings for Company employees for risk management and compliance purposes
  • Report directly to Chief Financial Officer
  • Ideal profile - Must have

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in either private practice or in-house roles
  • Collaborative, pragmatic and self-driven with minimum supervision
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Experience in APAC
  • Ideal profile - Nice to have

  • International experience (US and / or EMEA)
  • Experience in the Software / Technology industry
  • Knowledge about Data Privacy regulations will be beneficial
  • Fundraising experience
