Provide paralegal support to the AMA Legal Team in Singapore on all aspects of legal documentations, team administrative as well as Contracts Management, Corporate Governance, Commercial Legal Support, Brand Protection, Legal Projects / Research and Business Support for the Asia, Middle East & Africa (AMA) region.
Contracts Management : Act as key point of contact for Contract Lifecycle Management tool for AMA. Maintain and update database of contracts and legal precedent portfolio and ensuring accessibility.
Corporate Governance : Act as key point of contact for corporate secretarial matters in AMA. Update and ensure accuracy of AMA corporate database (CSC) and support subsidiary entities maintenance and board resolutions.
Coordinate with local and head office teams where required.
Commercial Legal Support : Assist lawyers in the AMA Legal Team to document and deliver advice on various aspects of the legal affairs affecting the businesses in the region, including :
o Contracts : Work with business teams to gather and review facts and to prepare first drafts of standard distribution, procurement, services, marketing and other commercial agreements.
o Compliance : Assists with implementation of compliance training and educating internal / external clients on our company’s global policies (i.
e. Worldwide Code of Business Conduct, Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy, Contracts Policy, Trademark Use Guidelines, etc.
Align with global stakeholders where required to adopt company policies and best practices.
o Risk Management : Work closely with business teams and internal / external counsels to address risks, disputes, claims, litigations and liability profile of the company.
Brand Protection : Support our Global Intellectual Property (IP) Team in the enforcement of our global brand protection efforts and strategies in AMA, including gathering evidence for IP-
related disputes and legal actions; clearance of IP materials for use; and advising business customers on IP-related issues.
Legal Projects / Research : Manage legal projects relating to implementation of business strategies and growth in AMA and work with outside counsel to coordinate region-
wide research on local laws & regulations affecting our business.
Law degree (LLB) OR Diploma in Law OR Paralegal Certificate OR equivalent with at least 5 years’ work experience in a law firm or corporate legal department of a multinational company.

Project Management : Able to develop and executes project plans, independently monitors and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables and works cross-
functionally to resolve issues.

able to practically apply business knowledge and concepts both within the legal department and when working with business partners.
Legal drafting : Understand terms and forms of contracts; can draft routine or moderately complex documents for review by supervisors;
able to think critically about the organization’s business objectives during contract drafting; able to assist in follow up negotiations on contract and commercial issues.
Risk Awareness : Able to identify, analyze and escalate (or communicate, as appropriate) legal and business risks faced by the company.
Critical Thinking : Able to arrive at logical conclusions and solutions to appropriately solve problems or create new solutions.
Outside Counsel Management : Interacts frequently with outside counsels; actively participates in relationship management and managing external deadlines to quality and timely results.
Technology : Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products, including Office, Word, Excel and Power Point;
