As Program Manager, MSP, you develop and execute strategies in support of the purchases for all corporate business functions.
Lead regional strategy and execution for global contingent labor program
Partner with Equinix managers to advise, educate and influence on a wide range of Contingent Workforce issues
Collaborate with Procurement, HR, Legal and Finance to develop workforce plan for labor pool in line with local requirements
Lead enterprise wide initiatives in assigned category to deliver risk mitigation, operational efficiencies and cost savings
Serve as subject matter expert in region in partnering with business stakeholders to drive local implementation of global strategies
Develop category plans for key functional areas
Manage complex contractual agreements; work with legal to negotiate key terms, expiration dates, amendments, etc.
Employ independent judgment in the application of company policies and practices to determine appropriate action or guidance
Manage contract and all labor desk escalations
Become a point of contact with senior vendor representatives and develop relationships with supplier representatives to ensure supplier commitment to key programs / projects
Drive vendor for continuous improvement and performance management
Ensure compliance with corporate and departmental financial controls and SOX reporting requirements
Identifies and executes improvements in contingent labor or procurement policies and processes
Assume leadership role in the development and deployment of global commodity / category strategies that align with the Business Group and Business Unit’s overall procurement strategy.
Define, collaborate and execute negotiation strategy, negotiation schedule and supplier selection criteria to support the assigned commodity / category strategy execution to meet Procurement and business objectives.
Leverage current supply base or identify new suppliers through market research to support new product launches / initiatives
Drive commodity / category-level improvement programs on cost, quality excellence, and supply chain at suppliers. Develop and maintain a portfolio of cost saving projects that meet targets for spend cost reduction.
7+ years relevant experience.
Experience working in global matrix organization would be an advantage
Bachelors Degree in HR, business or law, Masters Degree Preferred
Experience with categories such as Human Resources, Contingent Labor, Marketing and Professional Services
Strong understanding of contingent labor classifications
Superior communication and presentation skills
Experience in vendor management and / or recruiting
Expertise in strategic sourcing and contracting
Understanding of vendor compliance, management and SLAs
Expertise in data analysis and comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Language fluency written and spoken in English
Ability to travel frequently to various Equinix locations (post COVID)
