Job Description Summary

The Associate Producer manages and execute production of filmed content / photography. Hands on in the management of every facet of the production process from briefing, talent procurement, establishing timelines, preparation of pre-production, cost management to final delivery.

To assist in the production of the new load of TV / Video / Content workloads.

Assist Creative Services Manager on large projects that need a second pair of hands and line produce production shoot.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities : (or 'Duties')

  • Responsible for helping the Creative Services Manager on various broadcast and content productions.
  • Accountable for following up with the team to ensure deadlines are understood
  • Communicates timing realities to the team in order to keep things moving and the team united toward a common goal
  • Work with Creative Services Manager on large projects. Help with talent contracts, PPM, communication with all involved parties.
  • Plans and hosts regular status meetings per client group per projects as needed
  • Cultivates open communication with Account Management and Creative from the network, both one-on-one and in the team-like environment
  • Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of execution and delivery of video and photographic briefs, from creative inception to final delivery
  • 2 to 3 years of production experience from production house preferred
  • Basic understanding of editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) and camera equipment
  • Ability to pro-actively anticipate in team projects and manage multiple of projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good in multi-tasking of jobs.
  • Resourceful
  • Be able to maintain a consistent, can-do attitude in the face of many challenges
  • Exceptional initiative, attention to detail and follow through skills
