Responsibilities :

  • Characterize NAND cell arrays using Bench testers to identify improvement in device performance and reliability opportunities.
  • Use knowledge of semiconductor device physics, electronics and semiconductor manufacturing process to explain and resolve yield issues.
  • Analysis includes circuit and electrical fail isolation using Electrical Characterization and Fault Isolation tools
  • Establish and form possible electrical or process fail mechanism on yield issues based on Electrical and FA characterization.
  • Identification of layout / circuit marginality and work with PE / Design for layout / circuit optimization.
  • Participate in multi-area problem solving focus team to provide yield and failure analysis expertise to troubleshoot complex yield problems
  • Support transfer of next generation (Alpha / Derivative) technology from R&D to production Fab
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or Master degree, preferred in one of the following : Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related discipline and / or equivalent experience
  • A strong understanding and experience with nonvolatile NAND device physics. Product engineering experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with NAND Bench EFA, cell trim and algo development is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Fab process, good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present data in large meetings
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people at all levels
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Possess good teamwork skills and strong multi-tasking capability
