Job Description

This role is to develop sales potential of event, consignment and dropship sales channels. Work in partnership internally and externally to deliver the strongest product assortment, category product knowledge and effective promotional and marketing execution for each point-of-sale.

Accountable for maximizing Sales and Gross Margin, conversion of aged inventory, optimization of clearance, and building store relationships.

Facilitate operational readiness and management to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities : Business Development

Business Development

Identifying areas of opportunity for business growth and efficiency.

Drive business growth by developing undeveloped sales channels and prospecting new point-of-sale.

Foster good business relationships with partners to develop business opportunities with these contacts.

Secure new business opportunities, collaborations and sales.

Responsible for maximizing of Sales and Gross Margin

Strategize and execute merchandising plans (eg. 6-months plans)

Assortment Performance Analysis

Conduct research and perform analysis on the sales performance of business’ sales channels consignment stores and pop-up events andmake business recommendations and inform future proposals.

Monitor and perform analysis on the sales performance of product assortment (across all sales channels) to provide insights for assortment planning.

Validate and influence seasonal merchandising plans.

Develop an overall merchandising execution plan for stores and event.

Plan product mix and effective inventory count customised for events and stores based on customer profiles and buying patterns

Brand and Operations Training

Conduct brand and sales training for internal and external staff to improve the effectiveness of sales pitch on the sales floor.

Understand challenges and gather feedback from sales associates and provide the necessary support.

Support staff development by conducting reviews.

Operations Management

Facilitate operational readiness by providing clear and concise directions to the operations team.

Lead and monitor operations to ensure all processes are completed in accordance with the brand standards (eg. fulfilment promises, quality checks and packing standards and arrangements of logistics).

Manage and liaise with consignment partners on recurring operations (eg. stocktake, replenishment, VM checks etc.).

Conduct monthly store visits and VM checks to ensure stores meet brand visual standards and sales associate meet brand sales and product knowledge standards.

Conduct monthly internal VM and storage checks to ensure the internal team meets brand standards.

Plan and organise logistics and manpower for all operational matters.

Oversee and manage brand page and product listings on online marketplace platforms.

Plan and execute promotions for all point-of-sale.

Requirements :

Minimum Degree in business studies or equivalent

At least 3-years experience in sales & business development and management

Leadership skills, goal-oriented, numbers driven

Great business acumen

Good business analysis

Independent and smart

Able to multi-task

Loves to work in a young and progressive culture
