As a Contamination Control Technologist, your primary responsibilities will include strategy and management of instrumentation and systems utilized to ensure integrity of cleanroom, FOUP environment, UPW systems, key bulk chemical delivery systems, and process tool mini-environments.
You will be able to apply knowledge of metallic, particulate, and airborne chemical / molecular contamination to maintain wafer and cleanroom integrity to mitigate potential excursions.
Expect to regularly interact with Lab personnel, Production, Engineering, Facilities, and Safety / PHA in order to fulfill various requests and gather critical information.
This role will assist with developing processes for FOUP environment analyzer equipment, improve process efficiencies / characterization, and correct / prevent process excursions.
Additionally, you will require the following skills / abilities : project management, data analysis, research, metric development, innovation, and continuous improvement.
This position requires a candidate who can excel whether working independently or as part of team.
Responding to ERT and Security alerts and ensuring that gowning room logistics are adequate when evacuations occur
Responding to contamination alarms and reporting abnormal conditions to engineering and other teams
Sampling various areas of the Fab for contamination (swatch, swab, bacteria, airborne and liquid particles and Airborne molecular contamination) and working with the chemical lab to have the samples analyzed and obtaining the data in a timely manner
Ensuring that real time monitoring systems are operating and recording properly
Carrying out primary investigation on contamination issues and providing contamination data to engineering for analysis
Completing special projects as well as supporting Contamination Control Engineering projects.
Ensuring Team Members practice approved cleanroom protocol.
Acting as contamination control resources to the Fab, Probe, Facilities and supporting groups
All team members are required to complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame

ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs
reporting on performance and opportunities for improvement to management
ensuring the promotion of internal and external customer focus throughout the organization
ensuring the maintenance of the integrity of the QMS / business process when changes are planned and implemented.
ensuring customer requirements are met
NITEC or Diploma in Engineering or Related field of study
Having Semiconductor experience is advantageous
A Chemistry background is preferred
Basic PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Proven one of software skills including Tableau, Excel VBA, R and Python
Proven successful interpersonal and customer service skills
Proven track record to troubleshoot basic problems and address root causes
Shown ability to work independently or with a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be flexible to work any shift and rotate shifts as needed
Strong Mechanical and Technical Aptitude
