Overview

This position will head up sales in APAC for Exact Diagnostics, A Bio-Rad Laboratories Company, is a leader in developing and manufacturing a broad range of innovative molecular diagnostics products designed to meet the quality control needs of clinical labs and assay manufacturers.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets in allocated territories and with allocated customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Molecular Diagnostics accounts, visiting customers on a regular basis at their accounts and / or at scientific conferences and meetings
  • Travel with territory sales managers and leadership, representing the EDX product line.
  • Execute the sales strategy in alignment with the APAC marketing team
  • Identify new business and sales opportunities across all Bio-Rad CDG product lines
  • Facilitate customer queries and work with relevant business partners to ensure customer success, ensuring that all necessary resources needed are used efficiently in order to increase Bio-Rad CDG business
  • Execute technical sales training for APAC sales organization.
  • Track and trend training to ensure comprehension and execution of sales plan.
  • Work closely with the local Field Application Specialists and the Molecular DiagnosticsSales Specialists to ensure the correct support and allocation to key evaluations of sales projects in the region
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a science or related field
  • 3 -5+ years of proven successful field sales experience in laboratory equipment, reagents or services to life science and ideally to drug discovery researchers in academic and biotech / pharmaceutical companies
  • Familiarity with key customer accounts and major research organizations in their region
  • Proficiency in organizing time and territory activities in order to efficiently maximize sales results
  • Ability to increase sales and customer penetration while working with multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across cultures and with diverse functions
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Strategic thinker and effective negotiator
  • Effective communicator at all levels of the organization
  • Covering selected Molecular Diagnosticscountries
  • Ability to manage moderate travel
  • Ability to interact with customers, sales professionals outside of native language
  • Territory : Asia Pacific, as defined by the US State Department
