We are currently looking for a Account Directorto join us.
In this role, you will manage & oversee all aspects of client’s advertising to meet client objectives and be the primary point of contact for clients and other internal specialised units for your assigned accounts.

Measures of success
In three months, you would have :
On boarded onto the key accounts with full induction / training into all of the other facets of the business such as trading, specialised services (internal and within GroupM).
Start to interact / engage with the client to understand their needs and requirements
You will have started to develop a great working relationship with internal teams and key client stake-holders
Learn and apply Mindshare proprietary planning framework & tools to derive insights to deliver sound media recommendation and setting appropriate measurement metrics.
Good time management and able to follow through on process and delivery timelines.
In six months, you would have :
Established strong team and client relationship and receive great feedback from co-workers and key client contacts
Be regarded as the account lead for the respective accounts and become a trusted advisor to the client by properly justifying recommendations, strong timeline management and delivering outcomes.
Responsible for overall campaign strategy by providing strategic recommendation with strong insights and channel tactics.
Proposing and implementing new planning approaches, ideas and product offering
Be able to identify opportunities to cross sell / upsell other mindshare offerings that will meet the client’s campaign objectives eg SEO, Social etc
In twelve months, you would have :
Building up team capability to develop more innovation media solutions, going beyond traditionally planned media and start to instill a yearning to expand into the digital space and look at how campaigns can be driven by content, social media marketing, programmatic digital, mobile, search, etc.
Ensured implementation of campaigns that help drive revenue growth
Manage and motivate team to effectively deliver to client needs and company goals
Deliver good campaigns with strong business results worthy of awards submission.
Responsibilities of the role :
Develop and maintain strong relationship with clients and have a good understanding of our clients’ business
Responsible for overall campaign strategy, planning, implementation & post-campaign review for your set of brands
Set viable objectives and KPIs, and recommend / develop measurement methodology against all briefs
Support contractual discussions with key media vendors and trading commitments for the client
Keep a close ear to the ground on new opportunities to take to clients
Help guide and advise the wider team on best practices, innovation and work processes
Champion the growth and development of Agency services beyond media planning and buying
Work with internal specialist resources and group resources
Managing and developing your direct reports
Talent acquisition and retention for Account Management team
Effectively address client satisfaction, renewal and escalation issues until resolved
What you will need :
Minimum 7 years of client servicing experience in a reputed media agency environment
2-3 years of experience in the local market preferred but not mandatory
Exhibit drive and initiative
Produce work of high quality
Adaptable to the changing environment
Demonstrate sharp, strategic & critical thinking and effective problem solving skills
Possess superior management and organizational skills, flexibility, resiliency, and the ability to manage multiple expectations
Experience working with multiple stakeholders, e.g. suppliers, advertising / marketing agencies, media owners and internal specialist resources
Competent in media planning and buying across all platforms with a good understanding and working knowledge of digital media
Shows a depth of understanding of the industry, business, brands and consumers in client conversations
Able to effectively communicate the benefit of marketing opportunities and sell concepts / solutions to clients and key stakeholders
Experience driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities and established partnerships
