As the Global EHS Sr Audit Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining business and audit processes to assess global Environment, Health & Safety performance and detect systemic occurrences that affect Micron’s EHS management systems.
Affected systems include manufacturing operations, non-manufacturing operations, sub-contractor management, vendors and hazardous waste management.
You will be responsible for coordinating EHS audits, audit reports and monitoring follow up to ensure effective closure of gaps.
Responsibilities include monitoring post audit activities to ensure action items have been completed. You will be required to analyze audits and develop reports that demonstrate effectiveness of the audit program, communicate audit results and recommendations to management and other business units.
A successful candidate will assume an expert role and will analyze issues, make well-reasoned recommendations, provide leadership, solve problems, develop and maintain software in multiple languages.
Documentation and development of business practices along with deployment to multiple international locations will be a central aspect of this position.
Primary Job Responsibilities Include :
Conduct EHS Internal Audits
Lead and conduct EHS internal audits to ensure conformance to requirements in Global EHS standards or international standards such as ISO14001, ISO45001 and RBA
Coordinate the execution of both Global EHS and Site EHS audits
Coordinate audit schedule between multiple international sites with internal and external business partners
Prepare audit agenda and audit plan and understand the specific issues associated with the processes audited
Provide oral and written communications to the site management, including the preparation of comprehensive summary presentations and audit reports
Coordinate audit corrective action plan and follow-up audit (if needed)
Develop and maintain audit documentation
Establish, lead, and maintain cooperative and productive work relationships with all stakeholders
Develop and monitor metrics to measure the effectiveness of audit processes
Analyze audit data for trends and systemic issue
Assist with design and development of audit reporting software
Manage EHS issues for Customer and RBA Audits
Understand EHS related RBA requirements and develop tools and procedures to ensure corporate and site conformance
Work with Customer Support and other RBA related business units on the schedule impacting EHS related topics among multiple sites, internal stakeholders
Work with Customer Support and related business units to understand customer input to an audit agenda, requirements, and questionnaires related to EHS.
Coordinate with Global EHS and other corporate function experts to collect data and respond to customer requests
Understand customer and RBA audit EHS action items and deliver to the appropriate contact
Follow up on action items to meet customer or RBA expectations
Job Requirements : Qualifications :
Relevant auditor’s certification, such as accredited ISO14001 / ISO45001 lead auditor training by certified third party
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Multi-language ability such as Chinese, Malay and Japanese are desired
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including strong understanding in root cause analysis skill
Strong ability to communicate in different cultural and professional settings
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to work under strict deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
Demonstrated ability to comfortably work across organizational boundaries and geographies
Ability to be guided by business objectives and determine best methods for delivering results
Demonstrated proficiency in independently completing complex tasks
Fluent computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project
Education Required :
Minimum of a B.S. degree in an Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Occupational Health Safety), Science or another relevant degree
Experience Required :
At least 5 years’ experience as auditor of EHS management system, preferably with international audit experience in multi-national corporations
At least 5 years’ experience of technical background in environment, health and safety operations and management system in manufacturing, preferably in the electronics or semiconductor industry
Excellent understanding of materials, equipment and processes in electronics manufacturing and associated EHS risks
Demonstrate high level of integrity and resiliency in conducting audits
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong team player skills and ability to partner and collaborate effectively with cross-functional organizations
Effective negotiation skills and dealing with confrontation
Ability to influence others, build consensus, and resolve conflict at all levels of the organization
Organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
