Director ,Catering Sales - Leading Luxury Hotel Group - 5 days / Town Description Job Description

  • Assists in producing the Annual S&M / Revenue Plan
  • Assists in producing, implementing and monitoring action plans to ensure Revenue Plan objective are achieved
  • Analyses current and potential markets / trends, coordinates all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increase rate
  • Procures new and repeat business for the hotel by monitoring contact with airlines, travel agencies, commercial houses, governments / embassies and professional associations with local, domestic and international markets.
  • Maintains contact with planners, corporate accounts, incentive buyers, airlines and wholesalers, through personal sales calls, telephone contacts and written communications

  • Monitor key government accounts
  • Oversees the selling and servicing of C&B business
  • Co-ordinate the development of all promotional material for C&B
  • Monitors competitor activities and conduct market research
  • Maintains close liaison with Corporate Sales Team to ensure we leverage on each other strength.
  • Attend majors’ related functions to promote sales for the hotel, Wedding Fairs in competitors Hotels.
  • Under the guidance of your superior, directs all sales activities for Sales Managers and Sales Executives to ensure they meet the goals of the Revenue Plan
  • Produces monthly Sales & Expenses reports and forecasts
  • Meets with guests from major producers / organizers of big events staying in the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Establishes and continuously updates mailing lists
  • Attend major sales / PR related functions within the hotel
  • From time to time (every three months) to recommend and review C&B menus with Executive Chef.
  • Utilize clients’ feedbacks and provide recommendation to F&B / banquet operation & Exco on new set up trends ongoing.
  • Discuss with Banquet Operation / F&B and Executive Chef on a weekly basis on service improvement and competitors creativities and trends.
  • Develop & foster close and positive rapport with the public, guests, clients and members of the trade
  • Meets with guests from major producers / organizers of big events staying in the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Establishes and continuously updates mailing lists & database are accurate.
  • Provide ongoing sales direction to subordinate staff by implementing the joint call program and providing guidance and direction on the development and execution of customer interviews and action plans.
  • Promote the hotel as often as possible through entertaining, conducting, site inspections, presentations, etc. of the hotel.
  • Offer the suggestions to Director of Sales & Marketing and Marketing Communications to promote hotel effectively and efficiently both domestically or internationally and all productions do meet with the requirement of Swissotel standard and specifications.
  • Provide after-sales service and in particular to ensure all guests complaints brought to management’s attention and communicate with the respective departments if necessary for proper handling.
  • Ensure that all complaints are reviewed; investigated and follow-up action is initiated. Job Requirement Diploma holder Min 5 years of related catering sales experience with demonstrated track records and muts be from hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting.

    Knowledge of and skilled use of PC and Windows-based software. Working knowledge of Opera System preferred. Country Singapore Company Hotel Salary US$60,000 -
