The Head of FP&A oversees the planning and controlling function of Richemont South East Asia, covering Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia and other export markets managed from Singapore.
He / she will lead the FP&A team and act as a senior leader in ensuring tight collaborations between the Maisons, the COO, and Richemont Function Heads.
He / She monitor Brand & Richemont Functions financial performance to ensure achievement of financial objectives
This role will also ensure that compliance of controls and procedures are respected and all finance projects and initiatives are duly implemented.
This position reports to the Finance Director, based in Singapore, with dotted line to the Regional FP&A Director.
Planning and controlling
Own and drive the overall planning process (BU / LE), ensuring proper FP&A resource allocation and attend to critical Brands and Richemont Functions financial issues
Maintain and harmonize the controlling environment of each market within South Asia region (KPIs, reports, etc)
Promote financial discipline within the region, ensures quality and integrity of the financial data for Brands and Richemont Functions
Review the investment requests prepared by the team, make sure they are aligned with Group requirements and follow up on approval process
Projects & Tools
Lead financial projects and initiatives locally according to regional and group direction
Support South Asia FD on ad-hoc projects
Support the deployment of new reporting / accounting tools or on-line collaborative spaces
Assess, manage and develop through an effective performance management process, actively manage succession and individual development plans while ensuring permanent alignment of resources with business needs
Inspire, animate and coach the team, strongly promote cross-functional activities and communication
Drive organizational changes for the FP&A function
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
University Education (Degree in Finance, CPA or comparable qualification is a plus)
Minimum of 10 years of functional experience, of which + / - 5 years in a similar management position with an international company
Good knowledge of International Accounting Standards and SOX
Experience in FP&A in a multi-stakeholder environment, ideally in retail business
Developed organisational skills, familiar with finance-related systems and project management
Advanced team leadership and interpersonal skills to deal with all level of people
Excellent communication, developed presentation skills, fluent written and spoken English
Independent, mature and self-motivated, demonstrating a proactive and can-do attitude
Capacity to deal with deadlines, analytical and detail-minded but with good global view
Highly agile and able to deal with ambiguity
