    About the Job

    The VP Finance is responsible for all financial matters of the company, managing all Accounting, Treasury, Tax and FP&A activities.

    Directing a team of 8 finance professionals, you will drive amongst others the journey towards a 5-day close build upon an ERP and consolidation unit implementation.

    Furthermore you will be tasked to implement the chosen Transfer Pricing strategy and to set-up proper TP documentation.

    You will also be expected to develop our Treasury strategy around our many FX transactions and reap savings on the implementation of a TMS system.

    Lastly, you will be directly hands-on in monitoring, controlling and reporting over financial assets and results, with the clear objective of identifying and capturing improvements in financial performance.

    To land this role, you must have prior experience as a Finance Director or regional CFO looking for a global role overseeing multiple finance domains.

    You will have strong numerical and analytical skills, good strategic thinking and excellent leadership and communications skills.

    Foremost, you are extremely hands-on and have an insatiable improvement drive and passion for a fast-paced results-oriented environment.


  • Oversee all financial operations and direct financial planning and structure
  • Coordinate, analyze and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required)
  • Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties
  • Develop plans to continuously improve our financial performance and drive profitable growth
  • Set-up the Treasury Strategy and manage company cash flow and treasury transactions
  • Oversee accounting and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms performance
  • Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting and other corporate policies
  • Maintain and manage investor client and governmental (e.g. EDB) relationships
  • Requirements

  • 12+ years in a broad range of finance roles with your last role(s) being Finance Director spanning several finance domains
  • Treasury experience and experience with a TMS is preferred
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field, Master’s degree and / or CPA preferred
  • Outstanding integrity, solid moral judgment, and the ability to make important decisions under pressure
  • Possess strong leadership skills and business acumen
  • Solid team player you take pride in your team’s successes and are hands-on by working hard alongside them when solving problems
  • Extremely knowledgeable in financial forecasting, accounting principles, and financial data analysis
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
  • Ability to develop effective relationships and partnerships with internal / external business partners at all levels of the organization
  • Process-driven with proven success on developing processes and procedures, and enforcing them throughout the organization
  • Detail-oriented you don’t miss a beat, are on top of timelines, and notice the small things that matter and how they contribute to the larger picture
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment you get impatient when projects are left without accountability or deadlines are missed, and are eager to step in to fill in the gaps.
