Your Purpose

Reporting to the HR Manager, this role is responsible for full-spectrum of HR operations, ranging from HR policies and processes administration, daily HR operations, compensation and benefits administration,

performance appraisal administration, running employee engagement programs, and contributing to the post-M&A unification work.

Supporting the Talent Manager, this role runs new employee orientation and training programs.

The right person for this role must have a passion for the business and be driven to accomplish business objectives, not just HR-specific targets.

This role is keen on establishing progressive HR practices for great employee experiences. Through behaviours and words, this person will embody our culture and build a great workplace at LEAP.

Key Responsibilities

HR Policies and Procedures

  • Assist the HR Manager with HR Policies and Procedures administration
  • Guide managers and employees with regards the company’s policies and procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of employment laws, industry trends, and innovative HR best practices; ensure compliance and excellence in all aspects of the employment relationship.
  • Provide consultative support to dedicated internal client groups.

  • Address employee inquiries and facilitate employee requests; identify trends in feedback and proactively design solutions to minimize reoccurrence.
  • HR Operations and Administration

  • Assist the HR Manager with HR administration
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the an effective and efficient HR system
  • Onboard new employees, set-up and manage employee records.
  • Provide payroll administration, and handle payroll related queries and issues.
  • Manage processes and administration related to local employment regulations, e.g. EP applications, employment certifications.
  • Compensation and Benefits administration

  • Assist the HR Manager with regular salary, bonus, commission reviews
  • Assist the HR Manager with maintenance and monitoring of the benefits programs.
  • Provide effective and efficient benefits administration, through policy simplification, vendor management, setting SLAs, reporting, process streamlining, etc.
  • Employee Engagement and Relations

  • Assist the HR Manager to run programs and processes to ensure a great employee experience
  • Review framework, programs and processes to ensure a great employee experience.
  • Conduct regular employee communications through various communication modes - in-person, online, hard copies, etc.
  • Assistance to employees on all HR-related matters.
  • Any other duties assigned by the management.
  • New Employee Orientation and Training Administration

  • Assist the HR Manager to run new hire orientation programs
  • Assist the Talent Manager to deliver training programs
  • Performance Management Administration

  • Responsible for administering the semi-annual performance management process including, but not limited to : facilitating trainings, working with client groups on engagement and completion.
  • Post-M&A Unification

  • Assist in unification work, where necessary
  • Ad-hoc duties assigned by the management.

    HR Systems Management

  • Assist HR Manager with day to day HR System (Zoho) support.
  • Analyse user requirements in ZOHO HRIS based on review of business processes.
  • Participate in designing system blueprints.
  • Perform user testing, provide traning where appropriate, troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Must Have Requirements

  • At least 5 years of related HR work experience, especially in HR operations, including employment practices and regulations, performance management, etc.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, be proactive and adapt in a fast-paced environment and work effectively.
  • Structured-thinking and detail-oriented, yet able to see the big picture and skillfully manage projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Good to Have Requirements

  • Strong project management and delivery skills
  • Good with data-driven analysis
  • Passionate about raising standards, making a difference, improving the employee experience and contributing to business success regardless of borders / constraints
  • Independent, driven and hands-on, with a high level of commitment to deliver on time.
  • Experience in HRIS system is preferred
  • Formal EducationDegree in related field (i.e. Human Resources, Business Administration)
