Leadership role to act as the tech lead for the Libertyâ€™s regional data program in APAC and India. You will provide technical expertise, guide and mentor development teams on methodologies, processes and best practices on cloud data architectures, event-driven architecture, API-enabled data services, and data conversions.
Partner with global Liberty Mutual Group teams to determine appropriate emerging technology solutions for the East markets.
Align market technologies with Group reference architecture.
Design and maintain an analytics and reporting platform that ingests data from several different systems of record into a data lake.
The data is further curated and transformed for reporting and analytics use cases.
Develop and coach teams on SQL and data modelling to deliver database components as required. Conducts code reviews, performance profiling and performance tuning recommendations.
Coach a team of engineers building the regional data platform on technologies such as : AWS cdc, informatica ETL, data warehousing and Power BI based reporting.
Conduct POCs to explore new emerging architecture epatterns.
Bachelorâ€™s or Masterâ€™s degree in technical discipline; Masterâ€™s preferred.
10+ years of data and / or architecture experience in applications and / or data warehousing development in a complex, multi-platform distributed environment.
Experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions which leverage cloud provided platforms.
Experience in data warehousing concepts and techniques.
Experience in Master Data Management (MDM) concept, tools, and best practices.
Strong technical skills and experience with Oracle (PL / SQL), partitioning, compression, HA / DR, materialized views, indexing strategies, performance tuning, SQL, data analysis and data modelling (ERwin or similar), ETL (e.
g., Informatica PowerCenter, B2B), statistical software (e.g., SAS EG, SAS eMiner, R).
Experience in agile methodology and CI / CD principles.
Extensive, real-world experience, in designing enterprise solutions including data ingestion technologies, stream processing and data visualization tools.
Good understanding of multi-tenancy-based applications
