Analyst, IT Financial Control

The IT Financial Control Analyst is responsible for designing, maintaining, and monitoring IT application controls. It also consists of ensuring that testing and user requirements are met, in order to validate the controls are designed and operating effectively.
This position is responsible for monitoring and testing of various applications within the company, in support of compliance and new projects and releases.
The role also serves as a liaison to auditors, consultants, and other external parties regarding IT controls related matters.
Ability to carry out IT risk identification, assessment and evaluation
Maintain IT risk and control matrix and related documentations, including system narratives, flowchart as required by SOX documentation
Analyze control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to IT and Finance
Consult with IT and finance departments to define business requirements and expectations
Create and implement inspection and testing criteria or procedures
Document testing procedures, methodologies, or criteria
Able to identify IT control deficiencies and / or exceptions
Conduct testing to confirm continuous efficiency and effectiveness of information systems controls
Communicate audit and review results to appropriate parties; ensure that issues are addressed, and corrective actions are implemented
Three (3) or more years of direct experience in IT risk management, IT compliance, and / or internal audit required
CIA, CISA, CRISC Certification will be an advantage
Familiar with COBIT 5
Proficient in reviewing python and SQL codes
Proficient in IT application controls
Proven ability to work cross functionally and influence organization to accomplish goals.
Willingness and ability to adapt to new circumstances, information, and challenges.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently with sole responsibility and as part of a team to deliver quality work product in a fast-paced environment
Strong collaboration skills to work well with others from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
