Job Summary

The head of SBS Facility Management China and Asia is responsible for leading the FM organization for Sanofi Business Services within the China and Asia regions.

He / she will design the FM operations for the region in line with the SBS global operating model and he / she will deploy the FM policies for the region in line with the strategy of the Head of SBS FM-RM Services Asia / JPAC

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • In line with SBS regional strategy define & implement FM policies for the region
  • Optimize FM budgets in the region
  • Ensure the office environment in each country is compliant with local legal and professional policies as well as Sanofi HSE objectives.
  • Ensure implementation of IT Tools when necessary for good functioning of the sites (Easysite / MySBS, GIWMS, etc ).
  • Negotiate, align & manage services with External Service Providers and deploy IFM
  • Manage complex projects within the Facility, HSE & Security scope
  • Define staffing needs and ensure appropriate staffing for the FM organization (Country Level, Site Level)
  • Manage the relationships with the key stakeholders for FM / RM Topics
  • Perform site audits to ensure compliance and propose improvement plan.
  • Implement, monitor & report KPI’s & follow up on efficiency of implemented processes, service providers optimizations, strategic objectives and customer satisfaction (FM analytics dashboard, Customer survey)
  • Lead the FM-RM organization in the China and Asia region by creating a culture of cooperation, collaboration and teamwork across the FM-
  • RM country teams and ensure a smooth interface with the relevant stakeholders within SBS.

  • Bring support to the local FM teams to ensure people development and talent growth to build a strong and professional team in the region
  • Requirements

  • University degree in business administration or degree related to facility management
  • At least 10-year experience in managing office facilities for multi-national corporations
  • Knowledge of the Asian real estate market
  • Experience managing a multi-cultural team
  • Previous experience managing office restacking projects is ideal
  • Ability to think strategically and at the same time ensure a hands-on approach
  • Ability to shape culture and to motivate a large group of people to work toward a common goal
  • Good communication skills, ideally, fluency in Chinese or any other Asian language
