Business Unit : Catalysts

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for the complete sales process from aquisition, bid proposal including risk management, contract negotiations and after-sales services
  • Direct customer contact for all commercial and technical matters
  • Maintain business with existing customers by frequent technical and commercial meetings, account management
  • Acquire new customers (analyze and understand client's technology in detail, offer appropiate products)
  • Maintain an accurate order received and order invoiced forecast as input for resource planning
  • Maintain reporting systems (Installed Volume, Miller-Heimann Sheets and similar, Call Reports etc.)
  • Develop & propose price / marging expectations based on market & competition analysis
  • Liaise with technical service department and R&D functions; deliver technical feedback from the customer
  • Provide on site services, such as start-up assistance and operator / customer trainings
  • Assist to maintain and update technical design guidelines, operating instructions and reference lists
  • Take part in professional technical and commercial trainings / seminars according to approved training program
  • Participate and represent Clariant in industry relevant events, like conferences and congresses
  • Requirements :

  • Degree in Engineering (preferably chemical engineering)
  • Have at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Chemical or Oleochemical industry
  • Have project sales experience or technical sales experience
