JOB PURPOSE / ROLE
To make Life and Health business in the region fit for the future and outperform their objectives as laid out in the Life Transformation Program.
Responsible for developing and implementing the regional strategy (in alignment with the Regional GM and the OE), and for facilitating the transfer of global best practices.
Enables sharing of best practices in the region and globally, and drives collaboration among OEs.
Role is based in Singapore and regionally influencing CEO's without authority.
This role combines strategic direction setting, special projects in particular the Life Transformation Program, as well as day-
to-day performance management.
For the Life Transformation Program, this role will manage all of the activities that fall under this program across the entire region : liaise with project owners, ensure that timelines and deliverables are on schedule, ensure that all KPIs are measured and on track, and prepare monthly Life Days where our Life insurance CEOs and AZAP ExCom members meet to discuss progress and next steps.
Liaises with CEO's on behalf of Regional Life and Health Lead and works on all work streams ensuring portfolio management and delivering to the profit and loss targets.
Steering the business (market management, operations etc) through the Centres of Excellence that are being established to ensure that the target picture is implemented and productive savings are achieved.
Monitoring the plans for delivery and ensuring staying on track. From a strategic impact point of view, role will advise Regional Life and Health Lead on where position portfolio can grow organically.
Also work with other regional pillar heads to import any relevant projects into the Life and Health work stream.
KEY REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
10+ years’ experience in the Life insurance industry or similar experience in management consulting.
Outstanding English communication skills, both verbally and written.
Ability to liaise with senior management and effectively push deadlines and deliverables.
Organized mind set and ideally successful record of project management.
Positive attitude and drive to make the Life & Health Transformation Program successful.
Strong Sales background.
Advanced soft skills, influencing without authority.
Strong project management experience required.
