This site level role is integral in driving the opportunities in the various aspects of hydrocarbon mass balance and controls.
You will work across multiple interfaces to ensure that analyses and reviews are undertaken in a holistic and timely manner to ensure robust hydrocarbon mass balance management.
The main interfaces include the movement operations, technology, marine, finance and Projects & Technology (P&T) teams.
You will use the existing work process and drive its implementation by working with the key stakeholders. He / she will constantly has to seek out opportunities to improve the process.
You will be the main focal point to drive the implementation of hydrocarbon mass balance design and controls.
You will need to build up a team of 2 to 3 Specialists to provide the site with the capability to analyse, assure, train and initiate projects involving both hardware and process considerations.
Candidate Attributes :
You will have a good knowledge of movements logistics operations, hydrocarbon mass balance approaches, marine operations and a good grasp of refinery operations.
You must possess a self-starter attitude, a collaborative nature to work across multiple interfaces and an intellectual curiosity to challenge outlying data and assumptions.
You must be a high performer that is willing and able to work under tight timelines.
Key Accountabilities :
Responsible to improve Hydrocarbon Mass Balance Controls to meet Best-in-Class Downstream levels.
Responsible to progress the implementation of key initiatives related to the Hydrocarbon Mass Balance system.
Responsible with the finance team to monitor and report hydrocarbon mass balance analytics.
Responsible to facilitate the monthly Hydrocarbon Mass Leadership Team meeting.
Responsible to initiate continuous improvement programmes with the intent of building capability .
