Overall responsible for the execution of the steering unit sales strategy, results, planning and development of the sales in Consumer Market Segment for Henkel Adhesive Electronics across South East Asia.
A dynamic leader who takes full responsibility for the delivery of results according to plans in the best interest of Henkel and its customers.
To achieve the objectives, this role is expected to closely work with others regionally and globally across accounts, functions and departments, and take the lead in establishing and driving a high performing sales team to address the consumer market segment and all aspects that come with building and growing this segment.
What we offer
Accountabilities and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
Takes ownership of the sales targets and profit levels for the consumer market segment in South East Asia
Develops sales forecasts, plans and the delivery of the sales budget.
Drives and guides activities of self and team to ensure expectations of customers and Henkel are met.
Regularly reviews performance according to plan including (key) account plans, account activities and projects and new business development activities.
Works closely with others in the organization in support of SBU, global and regional strategies, specifically where it concerns the consumer SU and market segment and there where needed, mobilizes others to ensure success.
Handles major customer price and business negotiations.
Fosters, promotes and ensures collaboration across segments, regions, function in the best interest of Henkel
Takes ownership of continuous development of himself and team team, including training, on-the-job development and succession planning.
Who we are looking for
To perform the above, the candidate should possess the following education or experience :
At minimum a BS in a technical discipline (Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, etc.) MBA preferred
Preferably work experience in the Semiconductor, Electronics Manufacturing or Electronic Component industry (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Production) in a global / MNC environment of which a minimum of 10 years of sales and 5 years of sales management experience
Proven business acumen attained in the field of sales, business development and product marketing with clear insights in the electronics manufacturing market in South East Asia.
Passionate about sales and business excellence; by nature organized with experience in Strategic planning for developing an area, market, product market or a specific technology business, Strategic / consultative selling methodologies and account planning, World class sales automation tools / systems for target tracking and pipe line management, Product and project management skills are a plus
An assertive and result driven team player with strong people skills with proven ability to leverage others in industry and company by using clearly articulated business cases.
Cultural diversification work experience in different geographies in a multinational and multicultural environment is a plus.
