Job Purpose :

  • The Business Manager of BT supports the BT Head to lead all 16 Consumer markets in the Asia region, overseeing the strategic direction and delivery of the consumer bank vision across Products, O&T, Data, CFM (Customer Experience, Marketing, Marketing Sales, Decision Management and Digital Governance)

  • The Regional BT function is responsible for managing and driving all transformation projects across products, CFM, O&T and CBORC including Marketing, Marketing Sales, Decision Management and Digital Governance teams.
  • Its objective is to ensure adherence to financial plans, reallocation of resources and directly responsible for expense savings in excess of USD 150MM.

    This franchise wide BT approach is a cornerstone of Citibank’s Global Consumer strategy and requires a regional leadership team that will support, focus and leverage the talent and efforts of over 37,000 people in 16 countries

    Key Responsibilities :

  • As part of this role, the regional business transformation analyst will :
  • Support the BT Head in developing and communicating the GCB Asia Regional and BT strategy for Asia
  • Identify areas of focus to drive business optimization through insightful analysis (identification, sizing, execution & tracking)
  • Work with regional partners to put in place consistent tools and processes to effectively measure and manage the business
  • Track KPIs to measure ongoing operational performance
  • Lead a robust regional solutions provider / partnerships committee, bringing together the functional heads in a structured management process supported by appropriate data, tools etc.
  • Work with Country Product / Function heads to identify and resolve issues with solution providers
  • Develop and maintain linkages with other essential regional partners to ensure ongoing stakeholder communication and involvement
  • Identifying potential strategic initiatives and business transformational opportunities, analyzing to determine financial and strategic impact, prioritizing them and developing detailed implementation plans
  • Manage Solution Providers / partnerships related life cycle(identification, information sharing, Startup day, on-boarding)
  • Be the Go-To member to create / modify / consolidate / collate / manage / maintain presentations for business management
  • Knowledge / Experience :

  • Business / Finance Engineering or related discipline
  • Qualifications : (degree / certifications)

    Essential :

  • Bachelor's degree in business / finance / engineering (or a related discipline)
  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting preferred
  • Desirable :

  • Familiar with consumer bank technology and processes
  • Skills : (technical skills) :

    Essential :

  • Advanced MS Excel and MS Powerpoint required
