DRW is a diversified, technology-led principal trading firm. We trade our own capital at our own risk, across a broad range of asset classes, instruments and strategies, in markets around the world.

As the markets have evolved over the past 25 years, so has DRW growing to include real estate, cryptocurrencies, venture capital and several industry acquisitions.

With more than 800 employees at our Chicago headquarters and six global offices, we work together to solve interesting problems and capture opportunities.

It’s a place of high expectations, deep curiosity, and constant collaboration, with some of the smartest, most passionate people you will meet.

Our formula for success is simple. We bring on exceptional people, encourage their ideas and reward their results.

We are headquartered in Chicago and have offices in Austin (Texas), London, Montreal, New York and Singapore. We currently employ over 800 people worldwide across a wide variety of disciplines and backgrounds.

We work from high-level requirements where programmers are expected to gain an intimate understanding of the business. We strive for an environment where developers have the autonomy to pursue business solutions without arbitrary management constraints.

We are a group of polyglots and technologists always seeking to find the right tool for each problem. Broadly, the development teams at DRW believe in rapid deployment and feedback, automated testing, and cohesive, transparent, lightly-coupled architectures.

DRW Singapore seeks two senior C++ software engineers to work on its automated trading platform. The team designs, develops and maintains a full stack including network communication, exchange connectivity, risk controls, trading strategy APIs, and a few graphical applications.

The new engineers will expand and improve DRW's algorithmic trading capabilities with a focus on Asia, and help hire and mentor junior members of the team in Singapore.

Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent, detailed understanding of modern C++ and systems programming, and the ability to teach others.

They will have several years of professional experience, most likely in electronic trading or other low-latency applications such as PC or console video games.

They will possess a strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.

A bachelor's degree from a top university in a related field such as computer science, computer engineering, or physics is preferred.

Fluent written and verbal communication in English is required.
