Business Development Manager (East, Haircare) Description Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new customers and business and expand the Company’s distribution reach / channel to achieve revenue & profit targets.
  • Engage in market research to develop new accounts with potential growth.
  • Present and market products to all accounts and monitor team members’ sales result.
  • Ensure meeting of yearly sales budget for all brands.
  • Identify sales prospect and follow up on new lends / referrals, prepare presentation and proposals. Establish and maintain with accounts excellent potential client relationships.
  • Implement sales activities to increase sales and reduce stock.
  • Assist in marketing events such as seminar, trade shows and educational activities.
  • Provide on the job sales training / coaching and account development to the sales team.
  • Ensure timely collection of payment for all account.
  • To develop and grow existing accounts through effective sales strategies
  • Follow-up on sales leads and provide excellent account servicing
  • Timely execution of sales paperwork, report and marketing campaigns
  • Support the implement of events such as product launches, trade exhibitions, seminars, workshops, product demonstrations etc.
  • Responsible for building solid relationships with the assigned accounts and develop more business opportunities through upselling products and services.
  • Uncover opportunities within the accounts and build sales pipeline
  • Ability to analyse technical solutions and understanding client’s needs and requirements
  • Coordinate and manage all dealings with the accounts including customer relationships, sales, and post-sales activities
  • Ability to identity the technical requirements deem fit for individual distribution outlets or for total territorial improvement
  • To provide the highest level of professionalism to ensure mutual satisfaction and long term business ties with all distribution outlets
  • To handle all inquiries raised by the distribution outlets and be able to resolve them in a fair timely manner.
  • To supervise, monitor and review all business-related activities of the sales person periodically to ensure achievement of monthly quarterly and yearly performance Requirements :
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business related fields or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of working experience in sales or business development experience will be an added advantage
  • Possess own transport
